Let me tell you more about us. Our journey began in 2016, during an international convention in Utrecht. We noticed that many English-speaking visitors were curious about the city in Amsterdam, its history, and its culture. Spontaneously, we decided to offer guided tours. To our surprise, the demand was so high that we soon found ourselves guiding several groups. Since we are both active in an English-speaking congregation, organizing and conducting these tours felt like a natural extension of what we were already doing: connecting with people, sharing stories, and helping others feel welcome.

In the years that followed, the idea grew that we could do more with this. When the COVID pandemic suddenly brought the world to a standstill in 2020, we both lost our jobs and income. Instead of giving in to discouragement, we decided to focus our energy on something that had already brought us so much joy: giving tours. We made it official and had a website built so we could reach a broader audience. It felt like a leap of faith, but also like the right step forward.

What has always driven us is our shared passion. We love art and photography, but even more importantly, we love our brothers and sisters. This devotion has helped us push through difficult times and see opportunities where others might only see challenges. It also gives us the strength and motivation to keep striving for tours that are not only informative but also bring people together.

Amsterdam, to us, is much more than just a city. We know the canals, the historic buildings, and the museums inside and out. Every street, every bridge, and every square has a story—sometimes grand and famous, sometimes small and hidden. What we love most is bringing these stories to life and sharing them with others. Because Amsterdam is not only a place rich in history, it is also a city that continues to inspire people every single day.

With our tours, we want to offer more than just facts and figures. We want our guests to experience the soul and beauty of Amsterdam. Whether you are visiting the city for the first time or have been here many times before, there is always something new to discover. For us, it is a privilege to take you along on this journey and to pause together at the big and small wonders that make this city so special.
